Being members of local Bible-believing Baptist churches and having been officially registered as lawful students of the University of the Philippines Los Baños, we do now, in the presence of God, angels, and this assembly, most solemnly and joyfully commit ourselves into a covenant into a covenant with one another, as one body of students in Christ.

We engage therefore, by the aid of the Holy Spirit, to strive for the growth of the organization in knowledge, holiness, and comfort, which is one key for the advancement of the Baptist churches throughout the country and the whole world; to promote its prosperity and spirituality; to be present in every meeting and to actively involve in all its activities; to contribute cheerfully and regularly and to give our pledges on time, for the support of the ministry, the expenses of the organization, and the spread of the gospel throughout the University.

We also engage to maintain group and personal devotions; to seek the salvation of our classmates, schoolmates and friends; to walk circumspectly in and outside the campus; to strive for the best in our academic endeavors; to be just in our dealing, honest in all aspects of our studies, faithful in our engagements, and exemplary in our deportment; to strictly follow the Baptist dress code, that is, to be modest in our everyday apparel; to avoid all backbiting and excessive anger; to avoid from the use of intoxicating drinks, cigarettes, and illegal drugs; to refrain from joining any other student organization, whether it be academic or religious, fraternity or sorority, socio-cultural or environmental, duly recognized or not; to avoid all manner of interdenominational or ecumenical fellowships, student activism or militant movements, and any other involvement which compromises our faith; to strictly abide by Biblical standards and principles in any other aspect of our University life; to be zealous in our efforts to advance the kingdom of our Saviour.

We further engage to walk together and watch over one another in Christian love; to remember each other in prayer; to aid each other in sickness and distress; to cultivate Christian sympathy in feeling and courtesy of speech; and, to be slow to take offense but always ready for reconciliation.

We moreover engage that when we go home or remove from this University, we will continue to serve God through the Baptist Church in our homeplace or in our area of assignment, where we can be faithful in carrying out the principles of God's Word.
